This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) outlines the shipping and delivery terms and conditions for purchases made on the ‌www.kubovicauto.com‌ website, operated by ‌KUBOVIĆ AUTO j.d.o.o.‌ (“we,” “us,” “our”). By placing an order, you (“Customer,” “you”) agree to the terms set forth below.

1. Shipping Areas

We primarily ship within the Republic of Croatia. We also offer shipping to select countries within the European Union. Shipping availability to your specific location will be confirmed during the checkout process before you finalize your order. We reserve the right to refuse shipping to locations not served by our carriers or deemed high-risk.

2. Order Processing & Shipping Times

Order processing typically takes ‌1-3 business days‌ after payment confirmation. This includes order verification, payment clearance, and preparing your item(s) for shipment. “Business days” are Monday through Friday, excluding Croatian national holidays.

Once your order is shipped, estimated delivery times vary by destination:

  • Within Croatia:‌ 2-5 business days.
  • EU Countries:‌ 5-10 business days.

Total estimated delivery time = Processing Time + Shipping Time.‌ These are estimates and not guarantees. Delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control, such as carrier delays, customs procedures (for international orders), incorrect address, weather events, or peak seasons.

3. Shipping Methods and Costs

We partner with reliable logistics providers to offer several shipping options. Shipping costs are calculated based on:

  • The shipping destination (ZIP code/city/country).
  • The weight and dimensions of your package(s).
  • The selected delivery speed.

  • Express Shipping:‌ For faster delivery at a higher cost.
  • Pick-up Point/Locker Delivery:‌ Available in select areas.

Exact shipping methods and their costs will be displayed in your shopping cart and at checkout. You are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to the total cost, including shipping, before completing your purchase.

4. Delivery & Receipt of Orders

  • Address Accuracy:‌ You are solely responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address. We are not liable for delays, losses, or additional costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you. If a package is returned to us due to an address error, reshipping will incur additional charges.
  • Delivery Attempts:‌ The carrier will typically make 1-2 delivery attempts. If delivery is unsuccessful, a notification will be left, and the package will be held at a local depot or pickup point for a limited time. Failure to retrieve the package may result in its return to us. Returned orders may be subject to restocking fees and original shipping costs will not be refunded.
  • Signatures:‌ For certain services or high-value items, a signature may be required upon delivery. If you are not available, an adult at the delivery address may sign on your behalf.
  • Delivery Completion:‌ Risk of loss and title for the purchased items pass to you upon our delivery of the items to the carrier. Proof of delivery (a delivery confirmation or tracking status showing “delivered”) constitutes proof of receipt by you or an authorized recipient at the provided address.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email notification containing your shipping tracking number and a link to monitor your package’s progress. You can also log into your account on our website to view the tracking status.

6. Shipping Damages, Loss, or Delay

  • Damaged or Incomplete Shipments:‌ Please inspect your package immediately upon delivery. If the packaging appears severely damaged, you may refuse the delivery in the carrier’s presence. For any visible damage to the product or missing items, you must note this on the carrier’s delivery receipt and contact our Customer Service within ‌48 hours‌ of delivery to file a report.
  • Lost or Significantly Delayed Shipments:‌ If your tracking information shows no movement for an extended period (e.g., over 10 business days for domestic shipping), or the estimated delivery date has passed significantly, please contact us. We will initiate an investigation with the shipping carrier. We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue, which may include sending a replacement or issuing a refund.
  • Limitation of Liability:‌ Our liability for any loss, damage, or delay in shipping is limited to either replacing the affected items (subject to availability) or issuing a refund for the purchase price of those items. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from shipping issues.

7. International Orders (EU)

For orders shipped outside of Croatia:

  • Customs and Import Duties:‌ The recipient is solely responsible for all applicable customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or other fees levied by the destination country. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost paid to us and are the customer’s responsibility. We cannot predict or calculate these fees.
  • Customs Declarations:‌ We are required by law to provide accurate commercial invoices and customs declarations, stating the true value and nature of the contents. We cannot mark packages as “gifts” or declare a lower value to avoid customs fees.
  • Delays:‌ International shipments are subject to customs clearance, which can cause additional delays beyond our estimated delivery times.

8. Order Changes, Cancellations & Returns

  • Changes/Cancellations:‌ Once an order is confirmed and enters the processing stage, we may not be able to change the shipping address or cancel it. If cancellation is possible, a refund will be processed, but any incurred transaction or processing fees may be deducted.
